ARRIVAL :

Please make sure you arrive early for a prompt start on time. Our base camp is deep in the woodland and will require you to walk with the whole  group. We’ll be heading there from the car park at 7pm.

PARKING :

There is plenty of parking on site. 

TOILETS :

The toilets are in the car park, please make sure you go before we start our walk up to basecamp.

WHAT TO BRING  :

Please bring your own MUG and a BOWL & FORK .  Make sure you have enough layers on to keep you warm!  Even on hot days it can feel a few degrees colder under the tree canopy so do be prepared. Bring waterproofs if necessary too.

WEATHER :

Our session will go ahead in most weather conditions including the rain, we would only cancel if high winds are forecast so please check your email/phones on the day of the event to ensure we are still able to run. If rain is due we will put up a shelter but make sure you bring wet weather gear!

DIRECTIONS:

If you are DRIVING and following your sat nav it can sometimes take you to a golf course but Frylands Wood has a large entrance which is well signposted so if you don’t see it you are not in the right place! A map is below for your reference.

If you intend to use PUBLIC TRANSPORT please EMAIL US TO REQUEST A MAP wildonesforestschool(at)gmail.com and instructions as it can be tricky to get to the woods on foot.
